We have chosen this image "Persephone" by Mia Araujo.
Persephone was kidnapped and brought to the underworld by her uncle Hades. Her story was one of trauma and tragedy which she transformed into triumph and creation. By contemporary social standards, the nuances of the Greek legend are messed up to say the least. The reason we've chosen this myth and this muse/goddess as a basis for the foundation is we acknowledge the importance of shadow work and managing and mending through our own trauma stories. This is a safe place for people who have not always been/felt safe. We will fight on any front to keep it that way here for anyone wanting to engage with this foundation and the community.

It is often darkest before the dawn, and Spring returns to us, even after the darkest and most terrifying winter seasons of our lives and souls. Finding Persephone and the Persephone Foundation is focused on healing, growth, and regeneration of mind, body, and spirit through creativity.
Creativity and regeneration through art/craft/communication and practical magical skills and talents such as gardening or sewing are the things we will celebrate and nurture here.

The Persephone Foundation currently funds and amplifies various creative projects.

Made this video at the start of my own joinery into joy... Been living a mostly happy and incredibly gentle life for some years now and wish the same peace and prosperity for other goddesses.
